Martin, our barman, lands our famous Plockton Prawns himself and Kenny, the proprietor, takes the
finest seafood off to his smokehouse at the rear of the hotel which you can later enjoy as part of our
famous Seafood Platter. With that in mind, it’s no surprise that we were awarded AA Seafood Pub
of the Year in 2004! To fully enjoy our fabulous menu we have 2 eating areas, the Dining Room and
the Lounge bar. The Dining room has a slightly formal feel to it whereas the cosy Lounge bar has
a more relaxed atmosphere. With the award winning menu and our high standard of service throughout, you’ll have a great meal wherever you dine.
Our Public bar is a popular choice in the village and is well known for its fantastic live music twice a week throughout the season. Every Tuesday and Thursday the bar is alive with customers and fantastic music from our local musicians who are often joined by a selection of talented youngsters from The National Centre of Excellence in Traditional Music which is based here in the village. The bar serves a host of Malt Whiskies as well as fine wines selected by the proprietors and our favourite cask ales which change regularly, often to suit the season. We have open log fires to warm you on a cold winter’s night and plenty of seating outside on the decking for the warmer months.
