Plockton Inn is no exception. Just 100 metres from the harbour it’s perfectly situated with some bedrooms offering breathtaking sea views. The beautiful village of Plockton, in the West Highlands, is well known for its exceptional hospitality and right in the heart of the village,The Inn is run by a local family, Mary Gollan, her brother Kenny Gollan and his partner Susan Trowbridge. They bought the Inn in 1997 and over the years have built the business up to its
current award winning status. All three of them work in the hotel full time, with Mary and Susan sharing the role of chef and Kenny running the bar. As a result of their dedication they have successfully combined a high standard of service with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere where nothing is too much trouble. The Inn has many different attractions which keep their visitors coming back year after year, not least our fantastic Seafood Restaurant with fresh home smoked fish which deservedly won AA Seafood Pub of the Year in 2004.
Most of our staff are local and have a good knowledge of the area, as well as the Inn itself. Our recently refurbished accommodation is hugely popular and our reasonable tariff is an added bonus.
So why not visit us for a comfortable stay, with fine food by the log fire (or out on the decking if the weather permits), followed by a dram from our large stock of Malt Whiskies whilst listening to live local music in the bar?
Music night every Thursday with traditional music played by local musicians. Quiz night every Friday.
